This set of 1,536 NEXTFLEX® RNA-Seq 2.0 UDI barcodes (10-nt index) are plated at 6.25 µM stock concentration to be used with the NEXTFLEX® Rapid Directional RNA-Seq kit 2.0 or other RNA-Seq library preparation kits which ligates adapters for Illumina® sequencing to adenylated fragments using similar adapter concentrations.
A set of up to 384 NEXTFLEX® RNA-seq 2.0 UDI barcodes are also available for labs with lower throughput needs.
Reliably Mitigate Index Hopping for Improved Data Integrity
Designed with a hamming distance of at least three throughout the entire series that allows for error correction, the NEXTFLEX® Unique Dual Index barcodes contain two unique indexes on each adapter. These NEXTFLEX® Unique Dual Index RNA-seq 2.0 barcodes can be used for PCR-free RNA sequencing applications as well. If using the Illumina® NovaSeq®, HiSeq® 3000/4000, and HiSeq® X platforms that utilize patterned flow cells, these barcodes would be useful to counter the known increased rates of sample mis-assignment that is thought to occur during sequencing. The use of adapters with unique dual indices during sequencing prevents such mis-assigned reads from appearing in final data sets, allowing for the highest assurance of data integrity. Every lot is functionally validated and tested for index purity by sequencing.

The NEXTflex Poly(A) beads 2.0 are an easy and cost-effective method for removing rRNA in RNA-Seq libraries. This product takes advantage of the tract of adenosine residues present at the 3 ends of the vast majority of protein-coding mRNAs. Hybridization of these poly(A) tails to tracts of complementary thymidines (oligo dT) immobilized on solid supports allows the retrieval of poly(A)+ RNAs by recovering the solid support along with the hybridized RNA complexes.
The NEXTflex Poly(A) Beads 2.0 contains enough material to extract mRNA from 8, 48 or 96 total RNA samples for subsequent RNA-seq library prep or other applications. The shelf life of all reagents is 12 months when stored properly. All components can safely be stored at 4°C.
