HRP and ALP-conjugated secondary antibodies from Agrisera

HRP and ALP conjugated antibodies are secondary antibodies that are conjugated to the highly sensitive and stable reporter enzymes, enzyme horseradish peroxidase (HRP) or enzyme alkaline phosphatase (ALP). They enable accurate and precise detection of even low levels of antigens in a sample.

Agrisera offers over 220 HRP and ALP-conjugated secondary antibodies that are highly purified and available in a basic format, suitable for Western blot, as well as adsorbed to serum from a wide range of animal species, suitable for immunolocalisation and ELISA.

Recommended dilution: 1 : 50 000 -1 : 90 000 (ELISA), 1 : 500 -1 : 5000 (IHC), 1: 10 000 -1 : 50 000 (WB)

“The goat anti-rabbit IgG-HRP from Agrisera are very nice working antibodies with no unspecific signals in different dilutions (1:50000, 1:100000). We are using them in case of plant (Arabidopsis, Solanum) and human cells extracts as well.” Jakub Dolata, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan, Poland

Agrisera Secondary Antibodies

What are secondary antibodies?

Secondary antibodies are antibodies that bind to primary antibodies. In many experimental techniques, primary antibodies are used to target specific antigens of interest. However, primary antibodies alone are often too small to be visualised or detected, so secondary antibodies are used to amplify the signal and make the target antigen more easily visible. Secondary antibodies are raised against the species in which the primary antibody was produced, and as a result recognise and bind to the primary antibody itself. Secondary antibodies are often conjugated to enzymes or fluorescent dyes to enable detection and/or quantification of the antigen-antibody complex in various experimental applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry.
